  • Invoice number, invoice amount, name on the card, and email when you pay online

When you pay by card, card number, expiration date, and security code are collected by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on this website.

The site also collects routine technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies) used to operate and secure the site.

How we use it
We use this information to:

  • Respond to consultation requests
  • Provide engineering, investigation, and consulting services
  • Process invoice payments and send receipts

Project photographs
Occasionally, photographs of work we perform may be used on this website, in proposals, and in professional materials. Photos are limited to building conditions, construction details, and similar technical subjects. We do not include client names, addresses, unit numbers, logos, or other information that would identify the owner or the property. We do not publish a photo if it could reasonably identify a specific building, client, or individual, and we do not use it for marketing or promotional purposes.

Licensed photographs of well-known properties may appear on this website to illustrate notable commissions or project types. Those images are purchased or licensed stock. They are not photographs taken at a client site for this firm, and they are not used to disclose confidential project information.

Who we share it with
We share information only as needed to run the practice:

  • Staff and licensed engineers working on your matter
  • Stripe, to process card payments
  • Hosting, email, security, and website tools that help us operate www.bcbi.com (for example WordPress and our form and cache plugins)
  • Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or a valid legal process

If a matter involves other parties (architect, attorney, owner, contractor), we share project information only as needed for that work.

Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar tools so pages load, forms work, and we can see basic usage. You can block cookies in your browser. Some site features may not work if you do.

How long we keep it
Inquiry messages are kept long enough to respond and, if we are hired, as part of the project file. Project and payment records are kept as required for professional, tax, and legal purposes. Technical logs are kept for a limited time for security and operations.
